This work was done in Geneva

Prior to 2009 our work focused on trade and development issues through the QUNO-Geneva office. The primary goal of this work was to promote a fair and equitable negotiating process. QUNO followed the debates and negotiations taking place in various institutions including the International Labour Organisation (ILO), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Trade Organisation (WTO).

The two principal areas of work were:

QUNO Geneva was at the 6th WTO Ministerial in Hong Kong, providing a consultative expert group and faciliating dialogue within the negotiating process. Read QUNO's dispatches from Hong Kong.
