Coming by bus/tram/train:

From the Airport:
After collecting baggage, but before leaving through customs, collect a free 1-hour public transport ticket. These are available from the machines to the left of the entrance to customs. Come out of the airport, following signs to the bus stop. Take the number 10 bus and get off at “Bouchet”. When you get off the bus continue down that street in the direction of the bus until you reach a Y-intersection. You will see a boulangerie across the road. To the left of the boulangerie is a small street called Chemin Charles Georg. Walk up that street to the T-junction at the top (about 200m). Turn left. Quaker House is the second house on the left, no.13.

From Gare Cornavin:
Come out of the train station at Rue de Lausanne. With your back to the doors of the train station, turn right and proceed to the side of the station with the church in front of you (to your left). You will see tram stops in the underpass to your right. Take either tram 14 or 16 (direction AVANCHET - the line closest to the train station) till BOUCHET. When you get off the tram, let it pass, and cross THOSE trams tracks (not the ones for the tram going in the opposite direction). You will be facing a boulangerie. To the left of the boulangerie is a small street called Chemin Charles Georg. Walk up that street to the T-junction at the top (about 200m). Turn left. Quaker House is the second house on the left, no.13.

From Hotel Grand Pre:
You should plan for a 20-minute walk. From the front of the Hotel, turn left. Walk up Rue du Grand Pre (which turns into Rue Pestalozzi and then into Rue Trembley). At the corner of Rue Trembley and Avenue du Bouchet (it is Avenue du Bouchet to the left and Chemin des Crets to the right), turn left into Avenue du Bouchet. Avenue du Mervelet is the first small street on the right. Walk up Avenue du Mervelet about 200 meters. Quaker House is on the left as you approach the round-about at the top of the hill. Enter the lower gate. It is also possible to take a bus. The bus stop is at the intersection of Rue du Grand Pre and Avenue Giuseppe Motta. Take bus No. 22. Get off at the 2nd stop called “Mervelet”. Turn left as you get off the bus and walk about 100m. to Avenue du Mervelet. Note: Bus 22 only runs every 30 minutes.

From the United Nations (Place des Nations):
Take the number 22 bus, which leaves from near the UNHCR building, on the far side of the Place de Nations from the UN entrance with all the flags. Get off at “Mervelet” and continue in the direction of the bus and turn right into Avenue du Mervelet, and continue until you reach Quaker House at number 13.

Coming by car:

Quaker House is located between Petit Saconnex and Route de Meyrin, just off Avenue du Bouchet. If travelling from the UN, pass through Petit Saconnex (keep the Café du Soleil on your right), past the International Federation of Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies (on your left), to the first set of traffic lights just below the Federation. Avenue du Mervelet is the first right after that intersection. Quaker House is on the left side of the road about 200 meters up (2d house past Chemin Ch. Georg). Please note that parking is scarce in this area, so you should give yourself time to find a place or, better yet, get someone to bring you.
